The outgoing Fiat Panda
Fiat have been producing the Panda since 1980, it has always been a small city car. The 1st generation Panda was made up until 2003, in its 23 year history it received minor upgrades to keep it in line with modern design and technologies.
The second generation Panda, which is the current model, has been produced since 2003. The Panda, with its tall body and pillar style tail lights took its design cues from mini MPVs and SUVs. It won European Car of the Year award in 2004. The gear-lever is located high on the central dashboard, which is designed to make changing gears more comfortable than with a conventional floor-mounted gearshift.
A revamp in the line up during 2005 saw all Panda models equipped as standard with stability control, ABS, EBD and at least two front airbags. When Fiat released the Fiat Panda in Essex early in 2004 the car manufacturer was in great financial difficulties, it needed the Panda to be a success, and by October 2005 it had sold over 500,000, making it a success.
The Panda comes with 3 petrol engines and a diesel, in the petrol range there is a 1.1-litre producing 53bhp, a 59bhp 1.2 and a 99bhp 1.4 litre.
There is a 1.3 litre turbo diesel, which is more flexible than the 1.1 and 1.2 litre petrol power plants. The Panda 4×4 comes with a 1.2 litre petrol engine.
All of the engines in the Panda are quite small, when pushed hard they can be quite noisy but, saying that the 1.4 litre isn’t too bad. The diesel engine impresses the most; it is quieter than a lot of other small diesel engines and produces a nice deep note when pushed hard. The new Fiat Panda is due to be released in 2011 throughout Europe
The big Panda,
This was a gift for my girlfriend. She loves it and her friends ask her where I got it from. The Panda is soft (sheds a little at first) nothing major. Well made and has a good form (both arms and legs are same length, ex.). It is realistic as can be for a stuffed animal.
If you want a Panda for someone or yourself, this would be the perfect Panda. The seller answered my questions prior to purchase and I received it on time.
For the Panda Lover this is the Panda! Enjoy!

|Good giant panda for the price!,
I read other reviews on Amazon about the bear before purchasing, so I was ready for the initial shedding. When it arrived, I went through about 10 lint roller sheets, going over the entire bear. This seemed to accelerate and alleviate the shedding before my daughter ever got her hands on the bear.
Otherwise, the bear is definitely large but not too heavy, which is great. The bear has been pulled and carried by just about every part of his body (ears, arms, legs, etc) and has withstood the treatment. I think my daughter will only grow to enjoy him more and more as she gets bigger and is better able to handle him! I would say that his fur is a little more coarse than I thought it would be, but he is apparently soft enough for snuggling, at least in my daughter’s opinion.

I purchased a Melissa & Doug panda as a present for someone and just received it in the mail. It’s even better than I expected it to be and a very high quality stuffed animal! It’s nose is even well detailed, sculpted life-like and covered in a nice velvet-y material. The panda is very soft and fun to hug, with good quality fur.
It’s also just as big as claimed. Being 5″1′ I felt like I was getting a heck of a bear hug pulling this guy out of his box. He’s pretty much as big as I am if you chopped off my lower legs.
I haven’t seen a giant stuffed animal of quality this good in some time! Well worth the money. I’d have been thrilled to death to get this panda when I was little!
